You Don’t Have to Be “Photogenic” to Look Incredible

One of the first things clients tell me is, “We’re awkward in front of the camera.”

Every time, I smile… because that’s almost everyone. And it’s also where the magic begins.

My job isn’t just to take photos. It’s to create a space where you can breathe, relax, and be yourself. Where the camera fades into the background and you forget you were ever nervous to begin with.

I Never Show Up Unprepared

I don’t wing it. Ever.

Before we even start shooting, I come with a mental roadmap. Prompts, poses, movement cues, and gentle direction that keeps things flowing naturally. You’ll never hear, “Okay… now just act natural.” Instead, I guide you through actions that create real connection. Walking, leaning in, laughing, whispering something silly, adjusting your jacket, brushing hair out of your face. Small movements that feel natural and photograph beautifully.

You don’t need to know what to do with your hands. I’ve got you covered.

Prompts Over Posing

I focus less on stiff poses and more on prompts that invite interaction. Prompts give you something to do, not something to perform. They create moments instead of forcing expressions.

That’s how we get images that feel alive. The kind where you look at them later and remember exactly how that moment felt.

Yes, I Will Be a Goofball

This part is non-negotiable.

I will joke. I will laugh at myself. I will say something ridiculous if it breaks the tension. I’m not afraid to look a little silly if it means you stop overthinking and start enjoying yourself. The camera loves authenticity, and laughter is the fastest way to get there.

The more comfortable you feel, the more genuine your photos become. And that comfort comes from trust, energy, and a photographer who isn’t afraid to meet you where you are.

A Calm Presence Matters

Whether it’s an engagement session, a wedding day, or a quiet portrait session, I bring a steady, reassuring presence. I pay attention to how you’re feeling, not just how you look. If you need a moment, we take it. If you need encouragement, I give it. If you need someone to remind you that you’re doing great, I’m already saying it.

I believe peace shows up in photos. And I pray before every session that Yahuah fills the space with ease, joy, and patience so you can simply be.

You Don’t Need Experience. Just Show Up.

You don’t need to practice in the mirror. You don’t need to know your angles. You don’t need to be “good in front of the camera.”

You just need to show up as yourself. I’ll take care of the rest.

Because the best photos don’t come from perfect posing. They come from comfort, connection, and a photographer who knows how to guide you there 📸✨
