Branding Photos of Myself | Connecticut Branding Photographer
Branding photos of myself always hit different.
Because suddenly, I’m the photographer and the subject. The editor. The creative director. And the one zoomed in at 200% wondering if the tones feel right.
Is it too orange?
Now it’s too pink.
Why do the skin tones feel almost right, but not quite?
Is this moody… or did I lose all the shadows?
Have I stared at red tones so long that my eyes stopped working?
This is the part most people don’t see. Editing and color grading branding photos is deeply personal, especially when it’s your own face and your own brand. I want every image to feel like me. Like my work. Like my style. Warm but not muddy. Bold but not loud. Moody, but still alive.
If you’ve ever wondered why branding photography takes time, this is why. It’s not just about clean images. It’s about creating a visual identity that feels intentional, confident, and true to who you are.
And yet… this branding session was FUN.
Colorful.
Bold.
Strong.
Playful.
One of the photos even includes a cinnamon roll I made at home with candles in it, because this month I’m turning 32. Branding photos don’t need to feel stiff or overly curated. The best branding photography captures personality, creativity, and real life.
As a Connecticut branding photographer serving New England, this is exactly how I approach every session. Thoughtful editing. Careful color grading. Images that feel elevated but still human.
I’m still editing.
Still creating.
Still chasing the feeling more than the formula.
